I recently had my thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer. Having a scar in such an odd place (right across my neck) brings lots of questions and it makes me self-conscious to have to explain the whole "cancer thing" to strangers. I want this scar gone fast. Of course I looked up similar scars on the internet and some people still have theirs years later. So I got Mederma^®. I’ve only been using Mederma^® for a short time and my scar is 80% improved! I can't believe it. Woohoo!

 

I started to use Mederma^® Scar Cream Plus SPF 30 after having an angry wart removed from my knee. The doctor tried methods of removing the wart that wouldn't leave a scar, but in the end nothing was working so they had to surgically remove it and it left a nasty purple scar. A friend recommended Mederma^® Scar Cream Plus SPF 30. I was a bit skeptical at first, for many reasons, but I gave in and gave it a shot. The pictures show the three stages of the scar-to-be. The first one was taken the day the wart was removed, the second after it had healed, and the third after four weeks of using Mederma^®. I used it as directed, three times a day and I’m clearly seeing results. I will continue to use the cream and hope that in another four weeks or so it will be even less noticeable. I would most definitely recommend Mederma^® Scar Cream Plus SPF 30.

It was 2 years ago when a dog bit my then 2 year old son in the face. No stitches were needed thankfully. I used Mederma® for Kids™, as well as Mederma® Scar Cream Plus SPF 30. I rubbed it into his scar FAITHFULLY 3 sometimes 4x a day for 8 weeks consecutively..... and I was amazed! I stuck with it because I didn’t want him to have noticeable scars as he grew and have others make fun of his face. I stepped in some ant spray my husband had spilled in our garage and broke both my legs just below the knees. My right leg required surgery and lots of hardware. My orthopedic surgeon did a great job, but ortho's are not known for their pretty work like plastic surgeons. I started using Mederma^® as soon as my incision was healed. "I have always had mild acne and when I break out it always tends to scar which makes them stand out more. I have been using Mederma^® for years and it really works! My scars have improved and it is very impressive. I also used to have two burns on the side of my lip. When I used it on those, the scars looked less noticeable. I have used both the gel and the cream but I prefer the cream because it has sun screen in it so it helps prevent the sunburn. The only con is that it is a tad bit pricey but the tube lasts months (depending on how big the scar is). I love Mederma^® and I will not use anything else!"

I was in a motorcycle accident and I had a broken nose and fractured cheek bones. I look amazing now and it only took about six months of applying Mederma^® Scar Gel to my scars after my accident. I am so happy I put it on. I am thinking of using Mederma^® for my scar on my chin. It was in the sun so it is a little pink. Other than that I am completely satisfied with Mederma^®!! I am a firm believer in Mederma^®! My sister told me how she swore by it after her surgery so I had nothing to lose by trying it too.
