I recently had my thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer. Having a scar in such an odd place (right across my neck) brings lots of questions and it makes me self-conscious to have to explain the whole "cancer thing" to strangers. I want this scar gone fast. Years ago I was involved a car accident – it was a head-on collision – and even though I had my seatbelt on, my head hit the windshield. I love Mederma^® Stretch Marks Therapy and was pleased with my experience. I was skeptical at first, but I do believe it works. I applied it as directed – twice daily for 12 weeks. To remember to apply, I made it a part of my morning/evening beauty routine (however limited it is these days;). I didn’t have terrible stretch marks, but where I did have stretches in my skin it is less noticeable. The areas are softer and blend in with the surrounding areas, especially on my breasts, which is where I did have more stretch marks. I’ve seen a reduction in discoloration, and improvement in texture, enhanced softness and an improvement in overall appearance. OMG! Thank you Mederma^®! I had my son while my husband was in Afghanistan so I was always worried about what he would think about my stomach when he got back. Well unfortunately this product came out a little after he got back but it was still worth it because he got to see the progress right along with me.
